Merchants Square Sponsors Walsingham Charity Fashion Show
Students, faculty and parents will be modeling the latest fashions from Merchants Square shops including Binns, G. Bates Ltd., Bella, The Carousel, Closet Envy, The Campus Shop, King's Treasure, and Pink Cabana.
Catwalk For A Cure Supports The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation

General seating tickets to the fashion show are $5 for students and $8 for adults. Special reserved VIP seats along the runway are $12. A raffle will also be held, featuring exciting prizes from local merchants and Colonial Williamsburg businesses including Baskin-Robbins, The Cheese Shop, Bella Fine Lingerie, Quilts Unlimited, The Trellis, The Precious Gem, Aromas, Blue Talon Bistro, The Spa at Colonial Williamsburg, and The Silver Vault.

Swing Dance Revival in the Square
Saturday, May 24, 3 - 5:30 p.m.
Merchants Square is pleased to host a Swing Dance Revival as part of a Count Basie Weekend Bash on Memorial Day Weekend. Dancers from across the region are visiting Williamsburg to attend the many Swing Dances held all weekend, starting on Thursday evening at the Community Building and ending at the Sunken Gardens with Count Basie on Saturday evening. On Saturday, May 24, Duke of Gloucester Street will be transformed into a dance floor as Wendy Craighill and her talented Lindy Hop students bring the Swing Dance Revival craze to town. 1940's big-band Swing Music will be broadcast by WMBG starting at 4 p.m. Dance and be a part of this fast-paced action, or simply watch the creative, inspired swing dancers, starting at 4 p.m. At 5 p.m., watch class demonstrations. A Dance Contest will follow with cash prizes of $100, $50, and $25. Check www.Lindy101.com for times and directions to all six Swing Dances. -

Farmers' Market Open May Through October

The Williamsburg Farmers' Market is now open for its sixth season!
