CITY OFFERS WiFi IN DOWNTOWN WILLIAMSBURG

Merchants Square Hosts Free Service

A free wireless Internet network is now available for visitors, residents, and students to enjoy in Downtown Williamsburg. The free network is available in the Merchants Square and Prince George Street area of Downtown. Users of the WiFi service can log on the network by using their lap top computers, PDAs (Personal Digital Assistant) and cellular phones with WiFi capability. Citizens can shop, eat, play, search, and keep in touch with family and friends without ever having to leave Downtown. The new service brings 21st century technology and convenience to an 18th century environment.
